Paul Milde Virginia House of Delegates

CIP Finishes staff congratulate Milde at the company’s Stafford County headquarters.

Paul Milde, who founded CIP Finishes in 1986 and has led the business since, was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates on Nov. 7. He will represent House District 64, which is wholly contained in Stafford County, when the Virginia General Assembly convenes in January 2024.

“As a small business owner, I never take for granted the importance of a business-friendly approach to public policy,” Milde said. “I am grateful to the voters of Stafford County for sending me to Richmond to stand up for common-sense policies that help businesses of all sizes to succeed, create jobs and improve quality of life for Virginians.”

This continues Milde’s long record of public service, which includes three terms on the Stafford County Board of Supervisors from 2005 to 2017, as well as leadership positions on the Virginia Railway Express, Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission, Fredericksburg Area Metropolitan Planning Organization and Virginia Land Conservation Foundation, among many other groups.

Milde has written for Chief Executive magazine about the role business leaders can play in finding solutions to some of the country’s thorniest policy problems. Now, he will bring the skills he has honed growing a multi-million-dollar business serving the construction industry to his work in the Virginia General Assembly.
