About Us – A Division 10 Specialties Contractor
CIP Finishes is a Division 10 specialties contractor that started in 1986 as Closet Interiors, a custom closet installer. The company evolved to become Closet Interiors Plus in the early 1990s, as it expanded to take on an increasing array of interior hardware in large multi-family residential communities. Since then, CIP Finishes has grown to encompass hotel, senior living, student housing and some commercial projects. The CIP Finishes team includes 30 specialists with years of experience, strong craftsmanship and deep knowledge of finish hardware brands and product lines.
Over the past three decades, CIP Finishes has forged relationships with some of the D.C. area’s most respected builders, including Clark Construction, Balfour Beatty Construction, CBG Building Company, Hitt Contracting, Foulger Pratt General Contractors, Bozzuto and more. CIP Finishes has furnished and installed Division 10 finishing hardware in hundreds of multi-family residential communities across the Greater Washington region, including City Center DC and Reston Town Center, Terrapin Row in College Park, Md., and Cobblestone Square and the Eagle Village apartments in Fredericksburg, Va.
