The continued success of CIP Finishes is due to our exceptional team, whose work sourcing and installing interior finishes for multifamily developments deserves special recognition.

We recently celebrated the achievements of two employees who not only make each job a success, but also keep clients in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C., returning to us for installs time and time again.

CIP Finishes CEO Paul Milde recently awarded two special recognitions:

  • Employee of the Year: Travis Turner, lead project estimator
  • Installer of the Year: Lester Flores

Lester Flores, center

As Installer of the Year, Lester has recently turned over some of our more fast-paced projects on time. He does so with attention to detail, so these jobs are clean and thorough.

“Lester is one of our hardest workers,” Milde said. “He always comes with a team—that means he has the capacity for high volume… He’s very proud to be a part of this family and it shows. He insists on a high level of quality for himself or anyone in his workspace.”

As the top business development professional with CIP, Travis is directly responsible for almost all of our sales—which have been impressive. He also manages a team of six people.

“Travis is starting his eighth year with us and is our lead estimator,” Milde said. “He is not only turning out bids and re-bids but he’s constantly working on value engineering for our customers as well as submittals and RFIs. It’s a very detail-oriented and busy job. He has just the right personality to be able to attract sales, but not so much to be pushed around.”

The CIP Finishes family cheered both Travis and Lester—and the Washington Nationals—at a September baseball game. Our employees of the year are in a league of their own, and we’re lucky to have them leading the team into a new season.
